FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you require a minimum floral order? Yes. Depending on the time of year, we have minimums ranging from $3-6K. (Winter and Summer require lower minimums and fall has the highest minimum). Orders under $3k will need to consider a pickup which may not include on-site installs such as altars and large floral pieces. Because ever situation is unique, we encourage you to reach out to see how we can work with your specific budget.

What if we don’t meet the minimum floral order requirement? Not to worry! In an effort to support all types of client needs, Heatherly has developed Ready-Made florals. Available for selection in our online shop, you simply choose your wedding colors and size and we take care of the rest. While your will not have detailed control over the designs, the benefit lies in the reduced price tag. Not sure if this is the option for you? Fill out an inquiry form and we’ll help you decide!

Do you have a detailed breakdown of your planning services? Yes, you can learn more about Coordination and Full Service Planning & Design. We also have a couple of Coordination options depending on whether you need 4 or 6 weeks of service, as well as how much experience you require of your coordinator. Submit and inquire and we’ll help you decide what’s right for you.

Do you offer in-person meetings? Yes. Prior to booking with Heatherly you may request an in-person meeting. There is a fee for this meeting which may be applied to your final order.

Do you offer in-person floral consultations? Heatherly Event Design is a custom design studio. Each client receives a custom order and therefore his/her florals are ordered and delivered to our Mint Hill Studio just days before the event to ensure freshness and proper care. As a general rule, therefore, we do not invite clients in to the studio to experiment or view floral designs. We invite you to view our work in a variety of ways: via our instagram account, various published works, reviews on sites like The Knot, and here on our website portfolio. If you love our prior work, we’re confident that you’ll love what we custom-create for your event. We encourage you to review your proposal in detail as it will outline expectations for your day; additionally, if you’d like to request a phone call, Facetime call or in-person meeting to discuss your event we are happy to do so.

Where do you conduct in-person meetings? While we encourage phone calls and Facetimes to decrease your costs, we often have in-person meetings at local coffee shops convenient to the client. NOTE: Heatherly does have a studio located in Mint Hill and will consider meets here on a case by case basis. The studio is by appointment only.

Do you offer floral mockups? Mockups are not included in the standard price outlined in your floral proposal but may be requested for an additional fee.

Do you have a delivery fee? Delivery is included in your proposal. Events located outside of the greater Charlotte area will incur a delivery fee.

Do you offer design services outside of your planning package? Absolutely, you may add design service to any floral package or request a design-only proposal.
