WHEN OUR STORY MEETS YOURS

Beautiful things are going to happen

What makes the Heatherly team stand out?

It comes down to problem-solving

When you’re in the heat of the big day— with all the potential pitfalls, stressors, and unknowns — when the details have been planned and the timeline has been set, the only thing your vendors have left is their ability to make it happen. Whether it’s a complicated floral install or a wedding party member who can’t find the dress, the ability to problem solve can make or break any event.

That’s where each member of the Heatherly Team excels.

Our passion for event design runs deep. We’re here to help bring your vision to life or help you create one if you don't know where to start.

My team and I bring our experiences, tenacity and creativity to the table while working tirelessly to tell your unique story.

~Heather Muto, Owner and Lead Designer

Organized

We have the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and develop systems for achieving a client’s goals.

Creative

Not only can we think about concepts and designs in new and inventive ways, but we also approach problems and day-of hiccups head on.

Resourceful

We think on our feet and don’t give up. So if you have a problem, yo, we’ll solve it. (Hey, we didn’t say we weren’t cheesy at times)

Personable and Inclusive

With a strong sense of inclusion and acceptance, our team is geared towards making you, your family and your guests feel welcome and at home. We have excellent communication and people skills.

Fun Loving and Spirited

While we don’t put joining you on the dance floor before our work, we understand that you are celebrating some of the happiest moments of your life and we’re here to make sure you enjoy it.

Driven and Dedicated

The team at Heatherly loves what we do and we prioritize our work and our clients. Your event’s success is incredibly important to us; we take it personally as if it were our own.

Meet the Team

  • Heather M. | Founder & Lead Designer

Heather Muto began her career in California — first in production and then eventually in events. With a background in Advertising and Production from UNC Chapel Hill, Heatherly found her niche within Hollywood. After working on reality shows, the Daytime Emmys, and intimate celebrity parties, Heather launched her first wedding design business.

After many years in both Los Angeles and NYC, Heather returned to her hometown, Charlotte, and officially launched Heatherly Event Design hiring a group of talented florists and planners.

A Malibu surfer girl at heart, Heather looks towards the oceans and mountain trails she loves bringing those natural, bohemian aesthetics into her work.

Heather’s unique combination of creativity and grit make her a well-equipped leader in the Event Design arena.

  • Dani B. | Lead Planner

Dani started her wedding coordination journey during the spring of 2022. Her passion lies in creating experience! For her, it's all about the details whether that is a napkin fold, holding a bride’s train as she makes her way through a venue, or pinning the groom with his boutonniere. She believes that weddings should be a stress free day filled with family, friends, love and most of all FUN!

Dani says, "My favorite part about being a wedding coordinator is the trust that couples have in me to ensure their vision comes to life."

Outside of wedding coordination, Dani enjoys being outdoors with her dog, practicing yoga, learning new things and capturing life through the lens of her Sony. Dani is the Lead Coordinator at Heatherly and looks forward to creating more special moments to cherish for a lifetime.

Note: Dani is also fluent in Spanish

  • Heather L. | Lead Florist

Heather Lattuca grew up in the town of Mint Hill where she was heavily involved in the fine arts. She studied music education as a percussionist at Wingate University and the University of North Carolina.

As a strongly right-brained individual, Heather has her hands in anything creative. Through the planning of her own wedding, she found Heatherly and studied under lead designer, Heather Muto. As the leader of the Heatherly floral department, she’s excited to make your beautiful Heatherly floral visions come to life.

Outside of the floral studio, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her husband and golden retriever. She’s also a huge fan of the Carolina Hurricanes, anything Disney and traveling to new places. Fun fact: Her favorite flower is the anemone.

  • Jamie M. | The Flower Daddy

Jamie spent the summer of 1989 in his hometown in Belpre, Ohio. working in his mother’s flower shop, just as she had when she was a child and it belonged to her father. Jamie’s passion for flowers grew with his knowledge of them and he practically lived in that shop until he moved away and eventually found himself in Los Angeles.

This is where his path crossed with Heatherly owner, Heather Muto.

While in LA, Jamie worked with many celebrities and entertainment industry executives who relied on him to make daily floral deliveries, coordinate events and fill their beautiful homes with his floral arrangements.

When he found his way back home to Ohio, it seemed only natural that he would once again join forces with Heather as they brought the magic they created on the West Coast here to the East.

In addition to his love for florals, Jamie is an active member of the LGBTQ community.

When it comes to Wedding Planning, Taylor’s advice mirrors that of her general outlook on life: “Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience.” ~ Paulo Coelho
